SCIENCE
Learning Goal: Learn the parts of a microscope and how to use a microscope.
1. New Quizlet: Microscopes (10-15 minutes)
2. Go to EdPuzzle and watch the "Microscopes" video.
3. AFTER you watch the Microscopes video, watch the "Introduction to Microscopes" video and answer the quiz questions.
4. In your science notebook, draw a diagram of a compound light microscope (like the one in the second video) and label all the parts.
5. Microscope word search and crossword.
Extension: If you finish everything above, spend some time exploring the Scale of the Universe interactive. Drag the circle on the bottom to view objects of different sizes. (Objects get smaller as you go from left to right)
