Learning Goal: Be able to compare and simplify fractions, and use the GCF to find equivalent fractions.

SCIENCE

Learning Goals: Explain the life cycle of the Albatross. Compare the bodies of Albatross and Humans.

Wingspan Activity Discussion:

  • Make sure your data has been added to the Google Form
  • Review questions 6 and 7 and data.
  • Who has the greatest wingspan? How about the greatest wingspan to height ratio?
  • Determine the mean, median, mode and range of our class data.
Life Cycle of the Albatross (presentation)

  • Pair Share: What is a life cycle? What is the human life cycle like?
  • In your science notebook, draw a diagram of the life cycle of an albatross
